With over 25 years in communications and public relations Fiona is recognised as one of New Zealand’s senior communications professionals. She has extensive experience in a number of sectors including agriculture, business, defence, education, health, finance, government and social services. She is committed to the professional development of public relations and sits on a number of educational forums. Fiona also presents at international and national forums on communications management, public relations and indigenous relations. Fiona is the Chair of the College of Fellows for the a Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) and a former President. She is also actively involved in the Community Communications Collective which provides volunteer services to Not For Profits.
She holds a number of Director and Board appointments on business, government and not-for profit organisations. Fiona has a Master in Business Studies endorsed in Communication Management and a Master in Philosophy endorsed in International Relations and Defence Studies.
